Spectrum Health
In October 2018 Spectrum closed on a merger with Lakeland Health, a health system in southwest Michigan consisting of three hospitals, 450 suppliers, and four,000 employees. Spectrum Health Lakeland will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Spectrum Health and can uniquely have two governing boards. Spectrum Health was formally integrated on Sept. 19, 1997, bringing collectively the resources of Butterworth Health System and Blodgett Memorial Medical Center.
Our major objective is to create Emergency Medicine physicians who have both confidence and competence to perform in any hospital setting including neighborhood, inner-metropolis, rural or educational primarily based. Although the journey may be challenging, the rewards and experiences shall be invaluable.
